Frequently asked questions about window film
Does window film damage the glass or frame?+
No. Quality window film, when installed correctly, places no extra pressure on the glass and does not damage the frame. It can be removed without a trace if you want to change or remove it.
How long does window film last?+
Professional window film lasts 10–15 years or more. Our films come with a 3-year warranty. The service life depends on the film type, the quality of installation and the exposure.
Is the film visible from outside?+
It depends on the film type. Clear sun-protection film is almost invisible from outside. Tinting film reflects light and gives a mirror effect from outside. Heat-saving film is usually almost unnoticeable.
Can it be installed on double glazing (glass units)?+
Yes, most window films are suitable for standard glass units. Energy-saving films can affect heat exchange, so it is advisable to get advice before installation.
How do I clean the window after film installation?+
Wait at least 30 days after installation, until the film has fully cured. Clean with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and strong chemicals.
